best way to demultiplex mpts stream

Recommended Posts

Hello,

What is the best way to demultiplex mpts stream to spts. I`m trying something like that:

#!/usr/bin/env astra
----------------
--Basic Settings
----------------

log.set({
    stdout = true,
    filename = "/var/log/astra.log",
})

pidfile("/var/run/astra.pid")

require("stream")

-------------------
--DVB Configuration
-------------------
mpts_01 = udp_input({
    addr = "227.20.20.4",
    port = 5000
})

make_channel({
    name = "Test 01",
    input ={"udp://mpts_01#pnr=74"},
    output ={"udp://239.99.0.233:4001"},
    enable = true,
})

make_channel({
    name = "Test 02",
    input ={"udp://mpts_01#pnr=75"},
    output ={"udp://239.99.0.234:4001"},
    enable = true,
})

and astra says:

core/socket 6]failed to join multicast "mpts_01" (2: No such file or directory)

when i use 227.20.20.4:5000 instead of mpts_01 in make_channel - all is ok. Is this the only way, or there is other, much elegant ?

Hello,

What is the best way to demultiplex mpts stream to spts. I`m trying something like that:

hello,

just

make_channel({
    name = "Test 01",
    input ={"udp://227.20.20.4:5000#pnr=74"},
    output ={"udp://239.99.0.233:4001"},
    enable = true,
})

make_channel({
    name = "Test 02",
    input ={"udp://227.20.20.4:5000#pnr=75"},
    output ={"udp://239.99.0.234:4001"},
    enable = true,
})
astra check source address and stream will be receiving only once.

and remove require("stream") from config.
