HLS slow zapping time

Recommended Posts

Hello dear Cesbo forum

We use the Astra Cesbo 5.64 on a server, receive the signal over dvb-c and play it out over hls and receive them on local connected Samsung hospitality TVs.
Unfortunately, we have realling slow zapping times (about 4 seconds). If we use a separate hls playout for example ffmpeg and nginx, then it is much faster (about 1.5 seconds).
But we would like to do all with cesbo: Receiving and hls playout and on the same server.

So... how is the Cesbo hls playout working? I can nowhere see the hls chunk files. Where are Cesbo storing this files?
And... is there any way in the hls header to reduce the client caching?

Thanks for your answer.
